FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY MANAGER to carry out the entire import process from the planning stage until the delivery of the goods into the factory warehouse. IMPORT. • Manage all import/export operations and documentation. Business correspondence & phone negotiations with the foreign companies. • Manage activities related to tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products to ensure orderly and timely transitions in production flow. • Searching products on foreign markets, obtaining necessary conditions and prices. Drawing up contracts & placement of the orders. • Booking and scheduling trucks with external transport companies, preparation of the accompanying documents for the goods transportation. Negotiating with brokers, freight forwarders, consulting with customs agents to ease passage of shipments through customs and state institutions. • Obtain, prepare and check all necessary documents required to ensure that the documents meet the requirements of national customs authorities or any other regulatory body (standardization and certification, etc.) for the purpose of receiving permissions for custom clearance. • Preparing of covering documentation: invoices, technical data sheets, and certificates of origin, packing lists, and other documents for successful customs clearance. • Calculation of shipping cost and cost of customs clearance of goods, rendering the cost of imported goods. • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. EXPORT. Sales support with preparing all relevant documents (commercial proposes, invoices and draft sales contracts). INTERPRETER. Manage language and communications translation issues and activities as necessary to enable effective relations (handling instructions, operating manuals). Collaborate with other departments inside factory in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, materials management, and overall operating functions. REQUIREMENTS. Bachelor or Master Degree. Knowledge of languages: English – Upper Intermediate B2. Ukrainian – Proficient. Quick thinking. Reasoning. Perfectionist. High attention to numbers.
